The opportunity?

As the result of current demands and with expected growth in the first half of 2023, Silk Hospitality has a rare opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to join our business. In this hands-on role you will work closely with our Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper to drive productivity, lead and develop the housekeeping team and plan, direct and coordinate housekeeping services.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all designated areas.
• Uphold excellent standards in the Housekeeping Department and to provide a comfortable, safe environment for guests and Housekeeping staff.
• Inspect all rooms on a daily basis in order to review, monitor and maintain standards.
• Operate the department within the budget and the agreed quality management charter.
• Plan, direct and coordinate housekeeping and laundry services.
• Ensure that room-cleaning productivity is maintained within the parameters given by Silk management. 

What you will bring
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and be able to confidently liaise with all departments.

• Must have Hotel Housekeeping experience in either a Supervisor role or Office-coordinator
• Proven skills and experience in a similar position.
• Management, Organisational and general business skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A great team player with the ability to work with a variety of people across various levels within the business.
• A great attitude.
