About the Role

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Field Service Electrical Fitter to join the Brisbane Branch supporting a variety of key customers across the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions. This is a Permanent Monday to Friday role.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide maximum satisfaction to our customers by ensuring all testing, installation, maintenance, and repairs are carried out to a high quality and in a timely manner

  • Be prepared to travel to carry out repairs

  • Provide technical support to other branches and other team members

  • Prepare reports, both internal and customer requested

  • Provide on job training to assist other team members obtaining a restricted electrical license

  • Minimize production downtime by prioritizing work to the required timeframes

    • Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience on generator sets and exposure to other high voltage electrical repairs and maintenance or comparable diesel engines/equipment

  • Trade qualified Electrical Mechanic/Fitter or dual trade Electrician/Fitter with post-trade experience

  • Low voltage rescue certificates

  • High voltage switching ticket will be viewed favourably

  • Low voltage 12/24V diagnostic skills desirable

  • Computer Literate

  • Previous experience on CAT machinery & CAT diagnostic systems will be desirable

  • Committed to a No Harm Environment

  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace

  • A continuous Improvement commitment and positive attitude towards change

  • Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening
