The client
Our client is a government organisation based in the south-eastern suburbs currently undertaking a significant technology transformation.

The role
They have an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Developer to join a small team specializing in business process automation/BPM. This is a role where you can continue to build on your previous software development experience in JavaScript/PHP/MySQL while building your skills and specialization using BPM products such as ProcessMaker.

6 month contracting role with potential to convert to a much longer fixed-term permanent role
South-eastern suburbs location, with hybrid work-from-home
hourly rate of up to $61+ super on offer

About you
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a developer in a professional/commercial environment (approx. 1 to 2 years minimum)
Excellent technical capabilities including Front-End development knowledge (JavaScript, jQuery, VueJS, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML)
Advanced knowledge in PHP, with Laravel skills highly desirable
SQL skills for both MSSQL & MYSQL
Server skills with Linux, Apache, NGINX
Knowledge and experience with Web Service API (REST / SOAP)
Any previous experience in process automation or BPM with tools such as ProcessMaker will be highly regarded
Exceptional communication skills, and ability to learn new skills and concepts

Please note that if successful in securing this role you must undergo a police check and hold a valid Working With Children Check card (WWCC) prior to starting onsite.
