Do you love the thrill of searching for premium talent and skills?
Do you have experience in designing and executing talent acquisition campaigns?
Unique opportunity to truly innovate and revitalise DPIRD’s talent acquisition function!
About us
At the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) we work to protect the sustainability of natural resources and accelerate ongoing economic growth, job creation and regional development.
Western Australia’s primary industries – including agriculture, commercial fisheries and aquaculture – provide jobs and exports and underpin a growing food industry and other agribusinesses. Our fisheries also support a thriving recreational fishing sector and regional tourism.
An important part of our role is to support the growth of strong regional communities that are desirable places to live, work and invest.
About the opportunity
Working within our Business Partnering team, you will lead the development of contemporary and innovative talent acquisition strategies, processes and tools that enable our business leaders to attract premium talent and skills to achieve DPIRD’s strategic outcomes.
In collaboration with our HR Business Partners, you will build rapport with senior managers to identify and understand their talent needs, challenges and opportunities. You will then apply this insight to develop new talent sourcing channels and initiatives to maximise our employer brand and ensure that our diversity goals and organisational values underpin all of our selection processes and outcomes.
Conducting industry-wide research on contemporary recruitment models and benchmarks as well as building the Department’s professional network through liaising with other agencies, professional associations, universities, and other key partners will be key aspects of your role.
We have a permanent full-time role available, though part time working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
