Mount Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer/patient focused Food Service Assistant to join the busy team of professionals on a casual employment. We offer a supportive atmosphere and an extensive education program, so you get to grow in your role and achieve work-life balance.

Our Operating Suite consists of 10 Theatres covering a range of specialities, including Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, General, Bariatric, Vascular, Breast and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. We are also home to the only private Hybrid Operating Theatre in Western Australia.
About the role:
This role will assist with the preparation and service of food and contribute to an industry-leading customer / patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
Selection Criteria:
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
