About this role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Office Manager to join our vibrant and enthusiastic Perth Office. As an Office Manager, you will supervise the Office Services team and oversee the facilities and services daily operations. Every day you will have the opportunity to drive programs and initiatives across the office as agreed with Geography Leader. You will collaborate with and learn from a range of staff members & external stakeholders. You will bring your passion for delivering excellence in client service experience to continually improve what we do to provide an engaging and sustainable workplace experience for our people and our clients.

What will I do?

  • Staff management of team including, but not limited to, supervision, managing workload and resourcing, performance management, training and development, career and succession planning.
  • Ensure ongoing collaborative relationships exist between the Office Services team and all other office staff, in particular the BA Network as well as Local and Regional Business Services teams.
  • Establish embedded project offices / client hosting within the office, including contributing to space planning, contracts, confidentiality agreements, mobilising and demobilising.
  • Contribute to the development of the Operating Expenditure Business Plan (OPEX budget) and Capital Expenditure Plan (CAPEX budget).
  • Oversee Front of House including concierge, catering, and events as well as the Service Station including staff services, security provisions, and mail services.
  • What will I bring? 

  • Recognised relevant qualifications or experience in Office Administration, Finance, or similar area.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including HSE.
  • A passion for driving sustainability and corporate social responsibility to achieve socially inclusive and sustainable outcomes.
  • A demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service and building positive networks, internally and externally. Arup’s values will align with your own values.
  • Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
