Executive Assistant
- Full Time, ongoing position, located in Perth
- From $96,962 – $101,250 + Super + Salary Packaging + Employee Benefits

About the role:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the CEO. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
You’ll be responsible for
- Managing the day to day operational and administrative activities of the CEO including diary & file management, coordinating meetings, aligning attendees, planning of functions and events, organising travel and bookings, processing expenses, executive administration and updating all internal systems where required
- Performing confidential and extensive personal assistance and secretarial support to the CEO, including research, organising and prioritising workload, correspondence and/or report generation, preparation and dissemination
- Managing all correspondence and enquiries directed to the CEO and initiate appropriate action/response to solve problems and facilitate successful results
- Managing all administration for the CEO – arranging internal follow ups and action
- Preparing and drafting communications, letters, reports and presentations
- Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all employees, directors and both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements of the role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant who:
- demonstrates HOPE’s values in all behaviours.
- possesses a strong level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to be discrete, courteous and confidential at all times.
- is highly organized with the ability to prioritise and action a multitude of tasks.
- Has the ability to prepare high level reports to the Board and Executive Team.
- has excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with all levels of management and other stakeholders.
- is a critical thinker who can adapt to changing situations and problem solve whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- has advanced computer software skills, including expertise in the MS Office Suite and a strong ability to research information on the internet and any other sources of data quickly.
- Has the capability to learn new system databases such as Diligent, Cascade and Weavr
- has excellent planning skills with a keen eye for detail.
- has experience in similar work.
Conditions of Employment
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration and Management or related field.
Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Criminal Record checks, the Working With Children Check, Department of Justice Clearance, Current C class driver’s license, and suitable work referee.
