We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a skilled Team Experience Partner to support the Brand & Marketing group. 

Brand & Marketing is a newly re-organised Group Platform that is responsible for growing Customer, Team & Stakeholder brand advocacy & patronage by delivering brand relevance and differentiation in collaboration with key Business Units and Channels. 

This role will play a pivotal role to connect business unit requirements with our Group People team. This is achieved through working in a cross-functional squad to develop and deploy initiatives and programs to optimise performance, leadership capability and meaningful team experiences that connect our people with our purpose. In addition, this role will have the opportunity to design and deliver key initiatives within our Careers & Capabilities Tribe to enable our team and business to grow and thrive. As part of one of our People Tribes you will be involved in gathering insights internally and externally and collaborating with Digital Business Value Portfolios, People Practices and Leaders across our businesses.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the People Lead for Brand & Marketing (B&M), you will be responsible for business partnering with Brand & Marketing Leaders. Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Partnering with People Lead to identify and prioritise key capabilities to enable career experiences that find, grow and keep our talent, specifically supporting the development of the Brand & Marketing Academy to optimise the readiness for a Group Platform Model. 
  • Partnering with People Practices and Career & Capabilities Tribe to translate business requirements into scalable, fit for purpose initiatives to accelerate our capability ambitions
  • Be responsible for the monitoring, awareness and activation of VOT plans. 
  • Lead the Wellbeing Working Group to activate the Group Calendar, find purposeful moments for our teams to connect and related VOT actions where appropriate.
  • Partner with a Leaders across B&M on the Employee Lifecycle, eg: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations coaching and influencing stakeholders to ensure successful
  • Implementation of the Group Platform Model and involvement in changement management required to land transformational programmes of work. 
  • Lead communication and reporting to the People Teams and Line Leaders on the Tribes agenda, prioritisation and any gaps/help needed Leveraging the Agile Delivery Cycle to ensure we are effectively communicating business requirements, prioritising work and making resourcing decisions to deliver highest impact work 
  • About you

    We’re looking for a resilient and values-driven Team Experience Partner with capabilities to perform in a fast paced and complex retail environment. This role will suit someone with strong HR foundations and excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills. 

    You’ll be a true People Partner, working closely with your Senior Leaders across the B&M department, you’ll demonstrate: 

  • Experience in Human Resources, with business partnering experience 
  • Ability to collaborate across different levels and functions to deliver high impact results. Highly desirable if demonstrated ability to coach, influence and communicate with leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage commercial acumen, judgement and data /insights to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Demonstrates Growth Mindset with clear examples of willingness to try new things, admit mistakes, learn from failure. Highly desirable if demonstrated examples of creating clarity to lead self and others through ambiguity 
  • Looks for opportunities to share and reapply HR practices and solutions, with a focus on pragmatic delivery in a fluid and fast-paced business.
  • Consistently focussed on delivering impact, not activity. Highly desirable if demonstrates ability to make choices,identify trade-offs and influence others to prioritise.
