Civil Technologist, 12D

Our Water team takes a holistic and sustainable approach to managing the use of water resources. We support governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations by mitigating risks, meeting regulatory requirements, reducing the cost of water use and disposal, as well as creating strategies for a sustainable future.

We work with key water authorities nationally including Hunter Water, Sydney Water, Southeast Water, Melbourne Water, Greater Western Water, TasWater, Logan Water, SA Water and Urban Utilities to name a few.

What you’ll do

  • Represent the company to a professional standard at all times and collaborate across the business on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate design and documentation with other engineering and drafting disciplines and with other team members
  • Carry out assigned project and 2D and 3D CAD design work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standards
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes
  • Support other sectors of the business on project activities ranging from feasibility to detailed CAD design
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of CAD technical standards and workflows

About you

  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of civil design and drafting of roads, water management infrastructure and utiltiies and other civil engineering infrastructure
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD (essential), experience with 12d (essential)
  • Previous water/mining/industrial infrastructure experience not essential but highly regarded
  • Familiarity with point cloud survey would be highly regarded
