Job Description

The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Cleaner Role at Robertson Barracks to join our busy LEAP team. These roles will work shifts Monday to Friday. You will be working in a small team of cleaners who are required to:

Cleaning accommodation rooms and common areas

Maintaining floor surfaces and wall surfaces (indoors and outdoor)

Operating specialised cleaning equipment

Cleaning premises and equipment

Preparing rooms for guests

Cleaning at high levels

The successful applicants will also be required to pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment and obtain a Department of Defence Security Clearance

The person

Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site

Hold a valid Australian drivers licence and reliable transportation to get to the base

Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper

Chemical handling experience is advantageous

Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential

Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills

A positive attitude and friendly attitude
