About the role
Our ESPS Business Improvement Projects team is seeking an experienced Adviser, to join the team on a 12-month secondment or fixed term contract which can be based in our Brisbane, Perth, or India Hub. This role will report into the Manager Business Improvement Projects – APAC region and will work as part of a team supporting the delivery of business improvements projects for the employee data maintenance and payroll functions.

In this role, you will:
- Provide process and systems expertise for streamlining, simplifying, and improving end-to-end payroll processes.
- Support the delivery of ESPS business improvement compliance initiatives and projects.
- Design process and systems solutions for payroll which are compliant with company policies, internal control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in regular communication updates with stakeholders to report on progress & changes.
- Be responsible for executing on individual deliverables and providing status updates.
- Perform and coordinate ESPS process and system solutions testing to validate changes and objectives.
- Create new support material based on the revised processes, reporting and systems enhancements. This will also include training material and delivery.
- Contribute to post implementation reviews on projects to ensure that they are completed successfully and to ensure all learnings from the projects are recorded and shared.
What you’ll bring
- Extensive experience in payroll and employee data maintenance activities with a comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian payroll legislation and superannuation.
- Experience in SAP payroll systems (or similar) for 1000+ employees.
- Stakeholder engagement skills, to facilitate improvement workshops and discussions across multiple stakeholders.
- Flexibility & ability to cover wide range of focus areas and operate at multiple levels of detail.
- Empathy and drive with ability to influence and resolve problems.
- Experience in data analysis, process improvement, process design & change enablement.
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture and have a strong commitment to team-based processes and outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal influencing, coaching, communication, negotiation skills.

Where you’ll be working
This role will be part of the Group Services team; this is a global team which has team members across all our major hubs. This role will require close partnership with IS&T and other regional teams such as People Experience (PeX) who provide HR advisory, global mobility, talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations, remuneration and performance services to leaders, employees & HR business partners.
