My client gives a new look towards the term ‘pub’. They are known for their classic pub foods, great atmosphere, weekly specials, live music and good vibes.

The location is in the centre of Googong on the old Cooma road., The venue is upmarket, with lots of seating to accommodate locals and is unique to the area. It is the ideal workplace with its stand-out name above the doors and massive recent renovations.

Part of a larger group that owns the venue, there is lots of growth potential!

They are open seven days a week, with lunch from Thursday to Saturday and dinners every night of the week.

About the position

The position listed is for a head chef; my client seeks a hard-working and reliable candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow as a team.

The role includes overseeing the kitchen from ordering, rostering, liaising with local suppliers for best quality goods, daily organising of the team, controlling and directing the food preparation process, and creating menus and weekly specials.

Prior experience within a pub/club venue is ideal; however not essential. Those Sous chefs looking to take the next step up the ladder will be considered.
