Davidson Technology are currently working with a Government client who are seeking a Web Content Producer for a contract position based in Canberra.
About the Role
This role involves supporting copywriting development and proofreading across various communication channels, ensuring they align with Agency and government style guides. Additionally, the role entails creating webpages and content using Drupal CMS, following best practices and optimizing content to enhance the Agency’s profile and brand. The successful candidate will align digital channels with strategies from the Agency, Division, Communications and Marketing, and Digital Team, including cross-channel campaigns. They will also align Agency digital channels with the Digital Transformation Agency Digital Service Standard criteria, including accessibility guidelines. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to review and approve web pages, and support for ongoing web content updates are also required. Finally, the role includes providing digital and media reporting support to the Digital Manager and Media Manager, as necessary.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in creating web pages and publishing new web content. You should have a passion for bringing content to life and web storytelling, using best practices to create exceptional user experiences. Your exceptional communication and writing skills should extend to a variety of digital communications channels including web, social media, traditional media (e.g. media releases), emails, and reports. You should have a good understanding of SEO principles, including SEO copywriting, and online user experience design for building optimal page structures. Experience in producing digital reporting to produce insights and recommendations via Google Analytics, Data Studio, and related products is also required. You should be able to collaborate with senior stakeholder groups to understand the brand vision and the content strategy. Experience with Drupal CMS and basic HTML skills would be an advantage. Additionally, content experience across traditional media, PR, and social media would also be advantageous.
