About the role
The Research Officer (Soil) will conduct research on soil related issues and communicates with stakeholders to foster improvements in the productivity and sustainability of agriculture in New South Wales, focussing on north- and mid-coast soil issues.
This role will be responsible for identifying new research and development opportunities and successfully obtaining substantial co-investment in a dynamic research and funding environment.
You will need demonstrated experience in conducting innovative soil research projects, and communication with a broad range of stakeholders.

About you
You have a strong interest in primary industries and a desire to develop solutions that address soil & water and understanding of scientific research methodologies with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to plan, manage time and adjust to changing circumstances.
