About the Opportunity

Milwaukee is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyse its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology, and to recommend and implement solutions that enable Milwaukee to achieve its goals.

Reporting to the Head of Insights, Data and Analytics responsibilities will include:

Working closely with the business to derive the business requirements and accurately articulating the requirements to enable internal and external parties to accurately deliver the outcome

Design and develop Qlik Sense (Cloud) applications, dashboards, reports, and graphical interfaces for analytical purposes

Work closely with the other Insights, Data and Analytics team members on design and implementation to ensure business requirements are being meet and communicated to business.

Manage the business expectations and consistently provide feedback of the delivery. Ensure business sign off is achieved throughout project lifecycle

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, showcases, retro’s and manage projects through an Agile approach

Work closely with the other Insights, Data and Analytics team members on understanding new and emerging Qlik (and related systems) functionality and how this can be utilised within Milwaukee.

Work closely and provide feedback to direct manager on any issues or concerns relating to the delivery or any business scope changes.

Gather data from various source systems and databases, cleanse, transform and prepare data for Qlik Sense prototypes

Productionise Qlik Sense Cloud applications to Milwaukee Standards and present and peer review applications within the Insights, Data and Analytics Teams.

Translate business requirements into design and development specifications

Monitor data integrity of reporting and data management systems

Provide knowledge and guidance to business users for business driver KPIs and business trends

Create documentation to support application and/or business analytics models, training, and issue resolution

Must have very good knowledge in Set analysis Concepts in Qlik Sense

Experience in Data level security utilising Section Access

About You

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills/attributes:

Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills

Expert Qlik Developer (Architect) / Designer (Business Analyst) knowledge required

Qlik Certified Preferred or willing to achieve certification within 6 months

SAP system knowledge preferred

Salesforce knowledge preferred

Strong Data Warehouse and ETL skills essential

Strong communication skills – ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation

Proactive with ability to think ahead and focused on meeting deadlines

Strong Presentation and training skills

Exposure to business process management software preferred
