What you will be doing

You will be part of an extensive team based in Adelaide who work on a government entity to ensure we meet and exceed expectations around BAU and project deliverables. You can work from Adelaide or Melbourne.

What will keep you busy

End to End Production

  • Identify and implement development and enhancements tasks as directed by the Development Team Lead. This includes understanding business requirements, developing technical solutions, software development, unit, system, integration and performance testing.
  • Apply extensive technical expertise/analysis as a specialist to the architecture, design and development of applications
  • Large focus on API and services
  • Work with TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT as part of the development tool set
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Ability to implement efficient code review practices and fully test items in all iterations of product and software development
  • Collaborate and assist the Technical Architect
  • Support

  • Diagnose, replicate and respond to raised issues.
  • Mentor members of the team
  • Assist internal support staff with any documentation to assist with administering queries and questions from customers.
  • Be available to be a part of the afterhours Production Support roster
  • ITIL Principles
  • The skills you will bring

    Technical Requirements:

  • 4+ years Senior Developer experience
  • Languages: C#
  • Frameworks: MVC (.Net, Razor), ASP.Net
  • Intermediate UI knowledge: Javascript, JQuery, CSS, XHTML, one or more Javascript frameworks, and AJAX
  • Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Entity Framework
  • Experience with web server configuration.
  • Experience in writing TSQL, database design, Stored Procedures.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to interface with various business units and external clients.
  • Knowledge of Security – Certificates, SSL.
  • SharePoint Development experience is desirable.
  • Other
