In this role as, Web Content Producer, you will manage the publication of content to the website.
You will coordinate content publication that may originate from different business units and/or internal and external stakeholders, with different authors and approvers, and facilitate cooperation between teams when necessary.
Provide regular reporting on content availability and usage by monitoring access metrics and making recommendations for changes and improvements.
Work with the team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers (if necessary) to deliver improvements to the functionality provided by the website.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide evidence-based advice on improving digital platforms and channels using analytics and
- Implement research and customer insights to improve customer satisfaction and product usage
- Provide advice on reputation management and risk profiling across digital and media
- Delivery the program of work within the account service model, the agreed timeframe, budget, and governance framework.
- Provide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the agency.
- Provide accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and agency guidelines and regulations.
- Set priorities for the work area, maintain team cohesion, and ensure quality of outputs for the work area.
- Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
- Contribute to managing change and uncertainty in the workplace.
- Propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies and to change in workplace practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and risk assessment activities within sphere of responsibility.
You will need to have:
- 2 – 3 years demonstrated experience in creating web pages and publishing new web content
- Passionate about bringing content to life and web storytelling, using best practices to create exceptional user experiences
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with experience writing across a variety of digital communications channels including web, social media, traditional media (e.g. media releases), emails and reports
- Understanding of SEO principles, including SEO copywriting
- Understanding of online user experience design for building optimal page structures
- Experience producing digital reporting to produce insights and recommendations via Google Analytics, Data Studio, and related products.
- Able to collaborate with senior stakeholder groups to understand the brand vision and the content strategy
- Drupal CMS and basic HTML skills an advantage.
- Content experience across traditional media, PR, social media an advantag
