Junior Systems Engineer

The Role

As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to our staff with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and support. You will be required to work with internal staff to translate non-technical requirements into technical ones and be an IT resource on nominated projects. This role will be suitable for a confident helpdesk professional looking to make the transition into a Systems Engineer.

In this role you will:

Provide administration of Microsoft 365

Be responsible for onboarding and offboarding of staff.

Assist with new staff inductions, including development and maintenance of user guides and training videos

Be responsible for Access Management (Teams, Sharepoint Document Libraries and Shared mailboxes)

Be responsible for BYOD management and device setup using Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Skills you’ll bring

You have a passion for customer service and an ability to engage with people from all levels and backgrounds. You enjoy problem-solving and can interpret technical jargon so that the end-user understands what’s going on. You will have a thirst for knowledge, with a desire to learn enterprise IT practices. You also have:

3 – 4 years’ relevant experience

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams

Previous demonstrated experience working with Sharepoint for file storage

Ability to work within an ITIL based system demonstrating excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.

Relevant qualifications in Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365 Administration and its associated products will be highly regarded.
