The Role

As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to our staff with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and support. You will be required to work with internal staff to translate non-technical requirements into technical ones and be an IT resource on nominated projects. This role will be suitable for a confident helpdesk professional looking to make the transition into a Systems Engineer.

In this role you will:

  • Provide administration of Microsoft 365
  • Be responsible for onboarding and offboarding of staff.
  • Assist with new staff inductions, including development and maintenance of user guides and training videos
  • Be responsible for Access Management (Teams, Sharepoint Document Libraries and Shared mailboxes)
  • Be responsible for BYOD management and device setup using Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Skills you’ll bring

    You have a passion for customer service and an ability to engage with people from all levels and backgrounds. You enjoy problem-solving and can interpret technical jargon so that the end-user understands what’s going on. You will have a thirst for knowledge, with a desire to learn enterprise IT practices. You also have:

  • 3 – 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams
  • Previous demonstrated experience working with Sharepoint for file storage
  • Ability to work within an ITIL based system demonstrating excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Relevant qualifications in Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365 Administration and its associated products will be highly regarded.
