This is a fast-paced, dynamic position and an ideal fit for someone who thrives on wearing many hats to provide end to end software development solutions. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with our global team while consulting with users and management to support cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency.

This position will focus on the following:

Software Development and Maintenance

  • Participates in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements elicitation to product launches.
  • Works with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to help elicit requirements and design internal and external software systems.
  • Develops new applications and features as part of an agile development team.
  • Participates in sprint planning and estimation sessions with a Team Lead.
  • Maintains and enhances in-house software applications/databases and proprietary databases
  • Troubleshooting/Correcting Deficiencies

  • Analyzes the performance of programs and takes actions to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and Department leaders.
  • Consults with Department leaders to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
  • Education, Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with software development on a modern platform, such as C#.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and technologies is highly desired; Our typical tech stack includes: C#, HTML/CSS/JS, SQL, Entity Framework, and JS frameworks such as Vue.js.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL programming is preferred.
  • Experience using development frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API, Dependency Injection, and Unit Testing is preferred.
  • Experience using a Source Control system such as Git or Mercurial is required.
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and constantly changing environment.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
