About the Role
The University of South Australia continues to enhance supports for our Aboriginal students and staff to position the University of South Australia as a University of Choice for Aboriginal Peoples in South Australia and beyond by 2025. These newly created roles in our Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) will make a significant contribution to the development of Aboriginal content in undergraduate programs (ACUP).
Reporting to the Associate Director: Teaching Innovation Unit and working closely with the Pro Vice Chancellor: Aboriginal Leadership and Strategy Portfolio (ALS), you will provide leadership in Aboriginal knowledges and perspectives in relation to curriculum design, academic and professional literacies, blended and digital learning, assessment and evaluation, and scholarly research in relevant fields. You will also provide support and advice to Academic Units’ staff and senior leaders, to build the University’s capacity to review and revise existing curriculum, and design new offerings, to achieve its ACUP strategic priorities.

Applicants must identify as an Australian Aboriginal person and have the capacity to provide leadership in Aboriginal knowledges and perspectives in the university education context.
The level of appointment will be dependent on the experience, skills and qualifications of the successful applicant.
