Job Description

The Ghan is one of Australia’s iconic train journeys, travelling through the heart of the Australian outback from Adelaide to Darwin. The Ghan stops twice per week in Alice Springs, as such we have a team of people at the Alice Springs terminal ready to service the train when it arrives in our spirited outback town.

The Nuts and Bolts

Multiple casual and part-time roles are available as Housekeeping Attendants. Much like a 5-star hotel on wheels, you will be responsible for servicing guest rooms on train, such as making beds and cleaning wet areas. After a long day of exploring our iconic dessert landscapes our guests will return to the luxury of a clean, maintained and serviced room for a relaxing night.

Our business is seasonal, so the hours will vary as per the below:

March –

Monday 12:30pm – 6pm

Thursday 8:00am – 12:45pm

April – October

Monday 12:30pm – 6:00pm

Thursday 8:00am – 6:00pm

Sunday: 10:00am – 1:00pm
