Job Description

A pharmaceutical client is seeking a Data Scientist (Freelance) to support their product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data and guide business decisions.

This is a remote part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
Deep understanding of statistics, regressions, and mixed models.
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau or PowerBI) to create visualizations.
Experience with Excel and Visual Basic.
Experience working with R.
Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python is a plus.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and applications is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
