Job Description
We’re looking for a Metadata Program Coordinator to join our Collections & Discovery team on a fixed-term temporary basis.
In this role you will lead the coordination of all elements of the First Nations Metadata Improvement Program – an important program that is contributing to improving the discoverability of First Nations records through metadata enhancement.
Your natural management talents mean you can jump from leading a team, to developing strategies and preparing complex reports, to building networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will:
• Lead and coordinate the First Nations Metadata Improvement Program to successfully deliver program outcomes
• Develop and implement strategies, foster continuous improvement, collaboration and teamwork to achieve quality outcomes within agreed performance measures
• Lead and contribute to the development of work plans, and provide advice on priorities and strategies for monitoring progress and achieving required outcomes
• Research and prepare complex reports, ministerial correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of corporate issues and represent QSA on committee and working groups as required
• Build and maintain networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
