Job Description
As an APS6 Recruitment Advisor you will be responsible for the following: 1. Providing consistent, accurate and timely advice and support regarding end-to-end recruitment matters
2. Managing onboarding and induction activities for new employees
3. Researching, interpreting and/or applying relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and determinations, employment contracts, policies and procedures
4. Overseeing the delivery of HR related programs including national recruitment processes
5. Supervising junior recruitment staff
6. Identifying, improving and leading the implementation of business process improvements
7. Establishing networks and maintaining relationships, at all levels across the department
8. Undertaking reporting, including use of E-Recruit, Microsoft Excel and Aurion
9. Managing contracts and procurement activities
The Successful Applicant
As the successful applicant, you will draw on your relevant HR knowledge and experience to provide technical recruitment advice; assist in the delivery of HR strategies and business improvement programs; and interpret and/or implement recruitment related policies and legislation.
You will utilise your well-developed written and verbal communication skills, working both independently and collaboratively to build and maintain productive relationships across the organisation. You are able to effectively set work priorities and demonstrate excellent time management skills in order to achieve results.
