About the role
If you are an experienced copywriter who can not only generate exceptional content but have excellent experience in stakeholder management than we would love to hear from you. This role sits as part of Deloitte’s internal Digital team, where Deloitte are our ‘clients’ and we go to market using our paid advertising, social, web and email channels. Sitting in ‘The Agency’, part of the broader Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) team for Deloitte, no day is the same in this newly formed role.
Key deliverables of the role:
Responsible for producing and editing large amounts of Sales & Pursuits content across a range of topics. Create original content and synthesize tactical messaging in a concise and clear manner. Write or co-write executive summaries to capture and articulate strategic messaging established in the overall pursuit strategy. Tone must be compelling, persuasive, and professional. Identify key messages and shape them in a way that differentiates our position and addresses the specific client need(s). Capture, shape and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice. Help translate technical information so it’s clear to multiple audiences, but maintain technical accuracy. Effectively structure complex proposals and presentations. Develop, organize and manage content for proposal documents and related collateral. Manage contribution process, maintain version control and take ownership of all components including the executive summary, graphics, bios and qualifications. Be a confident speaker and communicator with skills in facilitating and distilling complex discussions with leadership and executives. Demonstrate a finely tuned ability to sift through a discussion and extract the most significant information and action items. Elevate risks and issues to the Pursuit Lead quickly and efficiently. Work with Creative Designers to develop creative and informative graphics. Provide overall quality control for all pursuit materials; apply brand and legal compliance standards to proposals and presentations. Contribute to competitor research, strategic planning, ideation and storytelling Designing a strategic/visual response in line with messaging/positioning, brand narrative Leverage differentiation and value through understanding, tailoring and optimising content for relevant channels: e.g. Digital, Video, Customer/client experience, Print, Advertising and Environments. Support in strengthening marketing and brand capabilities: Education, Internal engagement, Art direction, Implementation, Brand guardianship Coach the firm’s most strategic pursuits to deliver higher win rates Challenge, develop and evolve Deloitte’s win themes Work collaboratively across the firm to bring the best of Deloitte to our pursuits Support the defined pursuit lifecycle and contribute at each stage to enhance our strategy ensuring the client is at the heart of our offering About the team

You are someone with:
At least five years of experience in writing, publishing, editing and/or content Essential high-level experience with Microsoft Ofiice products – Word and PPT Excellent communicator and driven to produce the best stakeholder experience Comfortable with interpreting financial data and complex ideas Good presentation skills with an ability to present on new ideas and provide insights through visual, vocal and written storytelling At an interpersonal level, patience will be an asset Broad range of experience in the corporate environment Understand the value of relationships Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think under pressure Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines High level of attention to detail High personal standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexible team player – sharing information and providing colleagues with assistance and support
