Senior Content Advisor

We are seeking a first in class Senior Content Advisor. The successful candidate will deliver integrated content campaigns for the Corporate Affairs function which includes content for the Group’s owned external channels, employee communications, events, Government and media relations. You will be an expert in digital content production and publishing and know how to get the best out of the content you create and the platforms on which they’re published.

Working within an in-house production team, you’ll be creating compelling, insight-led, considered content end-to-end for our audiences on Suncorp Group owned corporate channels.

What you’ll do

Creating, producing and publishing content across key digital platforms including suncorpgroup.com.au, Suncorp Group LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Suncorp’s intranet and other digital channels.

The creation of original digital content in alignment with key content pillars and content strategy.

Provide strategic communications support to the Manager Content and Community Strategy.

Ensure all content produced is targeted with measurable outcomes to support broader business objectives.

Provide strategic advice to support content and communications campaigns across a range of channels, including social media.

Build trusted internal and external stakeholder relationships including with third party suppliers.

Maintain, monitor and report on corporate digital channels (website and social media) including writing, governing, producing and publishing original content.

Maintain content pipeline and planning with insight-led ideation.

Manage the Group site publishing platform and implement best practice content design.

Stay abreast of trends in social media and monitor digital metrics.

Be proactive in identifying reputational issues, problems and opportunities.

W hat you’ll bring

Degree in communications/journalism/public relations/media studies or business-related discipline.

8 years+ content production and publishing experience, either in house or agency, with extensive knowledge and understanding of digital content and social media best practice, identifying and implementing emerging trends and technologies.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Writing and editing complex information for diverse audiences.

Thorough understanding of key Digital Publishing standards including SEO, Accessibility, UX Design, Content Design.

Experience managing end to end production in a producer capacity.
