Who you areAs an IKEA Food Co-worker you demonstrate passion, love and commitment to food preparation and cooking, food quality and it’s presentation. You have experience working in customer facing fast paced environments and are enthusiastic about working with others in a team. You have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a polite and friendly manner. Food handling certification and/or experience working with HACCP standards are highly regarded.
As our store operates 7 days per week, the successful applicant must have availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day, evening and 3 out of 4 weekends.
Your responsibilities
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you ensure your area is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience. You are responsible for, but not limited to;
•Complying with IKEA Quality and Food Safety Standards, producing and dating food according to specifications complying with HACCP standards.
•Ensuring customers are always in focus and striving to make them smile, by providing an irresistible food offering and always aiming to be an ambassador for the store.
•Have good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise individual work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.
•Maintaining, refilling, and storing of IKEA food products.

IKEA Food is all about attracting visitors to our store, and encouraging them to stay longer, you ensure that our customers are provided an irresistible food offer, in a welcoming atmosphere that gives our customers a good reason to return. You will ensure that you have the customer’s best interest in mind, through the production of our delicious Swedish dishes!
