Opening May 2023, Jones Radiology is proud to announce a brand-new stand-alone, purpose-built clinic in the Victor Harbor town centre. The clinic is located at 170 Hindmarsh Street in the centre of beautiful Victor Harbor, within walking distance to cafés and restaurants in the area. Adding to our existing clinics at Goolwa and Victor Harbor Hospital, this expansion of our radiology services to the peninsula introduces MRI with the installation of a Fully Licensed Siemens Sola. The comprehensive clinic will be delivering additional support to the hospital, providing the community with outpatient access to CT, MRI, Mammography, BMD, US and General Xray. 

About the Role 

At Jones Radiology, we are excited to be offering an opportunity for a Chief Technologist to lead our new clinic in Victor Harbor. As a Chief Technologist of Victor Harbour, you will work collaboratively with the clinic team to deliver a high-quality service to patients and referrers. This position will work closely with the Area Manager and Office Manager to create efficient workflows, site processes, and manage equipment installations.

The Chief Technologist must possess the following key attributes: 

• Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff.
• Able to show initiative and act autonomously.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the Practice culture and values.

To be successful in this role: 

• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent.
• AHPRA registration and EPA SA Radiation Licence or ASAR Registration
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of Jones Radiology.
• Ability to perform some weekend and out-of-hours work; on a rostered or on-call basis and be compensated accordingly.
