Integration Developer

About the role

Implementing all new API and integration solutions in MuleSoft and if you have the relevant Biztalk skills, supporting and maintaining the existing Microsoft BizTalk integrations. The Integration Developer will contribute and participate in day-to-day oversight and management of Integrated system solutions by ensuring efficient consultation and collaboration with both internal and external key stakeholders such as; SA Water business groups, customers, venders, data owners and third-party stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure integration solutions are delivered and maintained to meet business objectives.

Supported by the Integration Development Lead, take responsibility on projects for leading the delivery of integration solutions and the integration developers.

Build and retain positive relationships with all customers and maintain the delivery of excellent customer service

Maintain existing integration solutions in alignment with the defined service levels

Provide guidance and advice to peer integration developers and applications support teams

Continuous improvement of the integration discipline and planning for the future

About the Person

We are looking for more than the average developer; an individual who can, or has the potential to, lead the analysis, solution design, estimation, and management of the integration aspect projects.

The Integration Developer will present with strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, professionalism, negotiation and relationship management skills on all multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary levels. Relevant technical skills including an extensive history working within an integration development background, with previous applied knowledge with SDLC management, agile and/or waterfall methodologies, systems such as MuleSoft, Microsoft BizTalk, REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML.

In addition, the Integration Developer will require

Experience in development of integration solutions using middleware technologies such as MuleSoft or Microsoft BizTalk

Ideally you would have MuleSoft skills, but the right candidate presenting with experience in other integration tools will be considered (as such, a successful candidate would be eligible for provided training in MuleSoft)

Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certification and experience in application support/development and/or business analysis (essential)

Communication and interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder management

ITIL and Microsoft Certifications (desirable)

Extensive experience in developing complex software applications using MuleSoft and the full range of MS tools and software languages (desirable)

Extensive experience in IT system development, enhancement and support policies and processes (desirable)
