Field Service Technician at The Toro Company (Sydney)

Job Description

Toro currently has an exciting opportunity for Field Service Technicians to join our Equipment team, based in Sydney. This role will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.

Responsibilities

Effectively managing field Service priorities and schedules

Effectively maintaining a safe, clean, and resourced Service fleet vehicle

Coordinating and performing various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment

Establishing and maintaining relevant service-related information

Providing product service training to clients as required

Establishing and maintaining a customer base to ensure the continued financial growth of the Service Centre

Skills & Experience

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines

Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers

A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License
