Cleaners – Production at The Mitolo Group (Virginia, SA (SA))

Job Description

We are recruiting for experienced cleaners –

Office Cleaner – cleaning of both office and production facilities. Reporting to the night cleaning supervisor your tasks include the commercial cleaning of our office complex reception and foyer areas, boardroom, toilets as well as undertaking routine tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning partitions and blinds . There is also additional cleaning within our production facility. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 4.30pm to 9.30pm .

Production Cleaner – working within a small team to ensure our potato and onion packaging facility is cleaned to the highest standards and in accordance to food safety management systems. Tasks include toilets and staff lunch areas; cleaning and scrubbing of packing equipment including but not limited to belts and conveyors. This position requires working around moving machinery and undertaking repetitive tasks. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 5.00pm to 2.00am .

To be successful in these roles you will –

have the right to work in Australia

have reliable transport and a drivers licence

be prepared to work the times and hours required

have industrial cleaning experience

be trustworthy, reliable and have excellent time management

be physically fit and able to undertake heavy work

be able to work independently

understanding of the importance of a clean and safe work environment, and the importance of food hygiene and quality of work

have experience in the cleaning of food processing equipment and environments

be prepared to undertake a medical assessment which includes drug and alcohol screening
