Casual Aged Care Worker – Cummins Miroma Hostel

Working on a casual basis the Aged Care Worker will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Residential Care Home. Duties may include assisting with personal hygiene and grooming, incontinence management, laundry duties, assisting in care of clients with identified special needs or requirements.

The successful applicant should have a proven ability to work well within a team environment with effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. Have a proven ability to meet deadlines and timeframes and use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality. A current first aid certificate and a Certificate III or IV in Aged/Disability Care desirable. This is a casual vacancy with multiple positions available. Working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
