Do you have a passion for helping the elderly in the community?

We have multiple permanent part-time and casual opportunities available for reliable Domestic Cleaners to assist our elderly clients living in and around the central north metropolitan area.

Preference may be given to applicants that live close to our clients.

You will be providing cleaning services and domestic assistance support clients living in their own home in the community, enabling them to live safely and independently while improving their quality of life.

Brightwater can offer you:

Travel within the community and receive an allowance of $0.80/km

The ability to salary package up to $18,550 tax free per annum-meaning you can legitimately pay less tax and increase your take-home pay

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

Working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals

A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely using safe manual handling practices

Dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services

Ability to effectively communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse people in various environments

Customer focused and able to work without direct supervision in the community in diverse cultural and home environments

Flexible approach with work with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines

Willing to undertake training as and when required

Previous experience working in aged care or cleaning services (desirable)

Access to reliable licenced transport

Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence

Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months

Evidence of Influenza and COVID vaccinations
