Project Manager – Research

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will work with clients and the internal team to support all aspects of project/study execution, helping guide the client, team-members and any external partners through all critical project phases. The role sits within the Research Institute – the Centre of Excellence for all research at Roy Morgan. The purpose of this role is to manage research projects ensuring, they are delivered on time, within budget and meet and indeed exceed client expectations. There is also opportunity to be involved in preparing proposals and cost submission for clients as well as preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders. The role will work closely with the senior research team, a team of committed, highly regarded researchers, to provide on the job learning and development and allow for ample career development opportunities.

We are looking for highly engaged individuals who:

Are passionate about research and delivering quality meaningful work to clients

Have a working knowledge of research methods such as face-to-face, self-completion, phone and online interviewing.

Can write analytical and technical reports to a very high standard

Can read and understand data, synthesise meaning and tell a story from it

And the following must haves:

Have appropriate tertiary qualifications such as a degree in social sciences, Business and/or Marketing

1-2 years’ experience in the research industry is preferable

Knowledge of the Market Research industry

Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Good understanding of the use and application of statistical tools in research analysis
