Cheese Team Member

If you are an experienced Cheesemonger, Deli Assistant, Cook, Chef or other food professional with experience working with cheese, please apply for this role. 

As a Cheese Team Member, you will:

• Showcase and develop your cheese knowledge by displaying and selling Tasmania’s best range of fine local and international products
• Create visually enticing displays to encourage customers to sample and learn cheese
• Keep displays replenished and fresh
• Cut, wrap and price cheeses

You will need:

• At least ONE YEAR‘s experience working with cheese. (If you do not have this experience, you’re very welcome to apply for one of our entry-level roles.)
• A friendly attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of competence in written and spoken English
• Energy, self-motivation and efficiency and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A high level of energy and ability to take direction and show initiative
• Daytime, evening and weekend availability. (You do not need to be available all the time – we are flexible; your standard roster will be agreed based on operational needs as well as your own.)
