About the role

Regis Macleod is seeking an enthusiastic person with relatable social and cultural experience to join the Lifestyle team.As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will play a vital role in the delivery of individual and group activity programs designed to enhance our residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural and social well being. We are looking for someone with a positive personality, capacity to work well autonomously and as a team player, and who is passionate about ensuring our residents have engaging and meaningful activities that suit their needs and interests.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Active participation in the delivery and evaluation of activities
  • Liaise with residents and their families
  • Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement
  • Assist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents
  • Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Aged Care and associated accreditation requirements e.g. Aged Care Quality Standards (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience working with people living with dementia (desirable)
  • Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
  • Outstanding communication and computer skills

Our National Lifestyle Team develops ideas from around the country and makes them available to all our residents. There are s of unique program offerings, National Programs and at least one major celebration each month. Regis provides targeted services, and specialised staff and environments to support residents living with dementia. Some of our programs include PARO Therapy, Activity Stations, Table Top Activities, Music Memories, Resi @ Home and our Sundowners Program.

    Regis Burnside is a beds facility perfectly positioned in a friendly neighbourhood between the Adelaide foothills and city centre.. We offer beds for a variety of needs, including dementia, health decline, post operative and respite.

    We are looking for people who have a fun and outgoing personality and a passion to improve the social activities of our residents and who genuinely care and in return, we will provide you with an environment where you will feel supported and appreciated.

    Regis KIngswood is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join their lifestyle team. Working on a part time basis, the successful candidate will have knowledge of lifestyle therapy and is committed to enhancing the lives of our residents.

    Flexible working hours ,with shifts across weekdays and weekends.
