Undoubtedly the most exciting time to join Crown’s award winning Events & Conferencing department as a Full-Time Service Manager! This opportunity is open to not only currently experienced & capable Events Supervisors but also newly graduated hospitality professionals looking to develop & nurture their skills from scratch & kick start their career!

In this role you will be trained/expected to supervise teams to execute all F&B operational requirements for various events including an exciting array of gala dinners, weddings, functions as well as major televised events and conferences.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise & manage day to day operations to achieve planned outcomes and ensure operational plans are met for individual conferences & events

Implement excellency in set up, floor plan specifications & executing events

Supervise, coach & allocate floor staff to ensure shift requirements are met as well as identify training needs

Encouraging teamwork to produce exceptional service standards

Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided by all levels of staff

Key Selection Criteria:

EITHER has previous experience in a similar events/banquets role OR a recent graduate of a hospitality/tourism/events qualification

A strong passion & interest to develop a long term career in the hospitality industry

Proven customer service experience

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Exceptional time management skills

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Must be able to work FT across a 24/7 rotating roster

Must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work onsite
