Warehouse Storeperson at GFG-Alliance (Bell Bay, TAS)

Job Description

Based at our Liberty Bell Bay site, we are looking for an experienced Store Person who has a passion for safety and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities include:

Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders.

Demonstrated safety mindset with the ability to instigate safety improvements

Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries whilst adhering to schedules and deadlines

Maintain the stores efficiently and ensure the Inventory is optimised, so that parts and equipment for mobile fleet and fixed plant are available in order to meet organisational and maintenance targets

Perform administration duties matching invoices with receipted items and follow up discrepancies with suppliers as required to ensure daily performance targets are achieved

Participate in stocktakes

To thrive in this role, you will have a positive “can do” attitude and have experience working as a Store Person. This role would suit someone with strong communications skills with a focus on safety and the ability to communicate effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

Forklift and Drivers Licence

A high regard for safety and a hardworking and reliable attitude

Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of time management and organisation skills
