About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager (referred to internally as Cruise Director) to join our team, responsible for mentoring our crew and setting us up to deliver outstanding service to our guests. Together with your team, you will share special places and create lasting memories.
On the leadership side, your primary job will involve recruitment, training, rostering and performance management of our front of house (FOH) / food and beverage (F&B) team, referred to internally as Cruise Attendants. On the operational side, you will deliver the highest standards of service to our guests, liaise with the kitchen to ensure service runs smoothly, manage complaints, be responsible for stocktake and ordering of alcohol and cleaning products, incident reporting, and support with office administrative duties.
This position works on a rotating roster across 7 days with most shifts from 1:00pm – 9:00pm, however this can vary depending on what we have booked for the week.
Our season commences 1 April 2023, so we’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to start early March to help recruit the best talent for their Cruise Attendant team!
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) & First Aid qualification (or be willing to obtain)
- have leadership experience in a hospitality environment
- be passionate about training and developing your team
- be passionate about delivering an outstanding guest experiences
- have excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Hold an Elements of Shipboard Safety (ESS) certificate – can help you with this one!
