To be successful in this role you will have:

High level of communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with hospital and community health providers within the Torres Cape Hospital and Health Service and beyond.

Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture.

Ability to use clinical information and other IT systems relevant to the work area to support decision making and resource management to enable enhanced practice and patient flow within the AIN scope of practice.

Requirements for the role:

Certificate III in Aged Care Nursing or equivalent or the ability to obtain same.

Must be able to work a rotating roster and shifts including day, evening and night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 ( and Queensland Health Human Resources ).
