The purpose of this role is to support the Trading Directors within the business, tasked with assisting Directors in managing day to day relationships with media partners and to work with account teams to support the delivery of best-in-class campaigns.

Due to growth, we are on the lookout for a Digital Manager to join the dentsu QLD team.

What your typical day will look like:

At the Digital Manager, you will support the Digital Director specifically for the Tourism & Events Queensland team with a with strong implementational and activation lean towards planning & buying across all digital media.

In this role, you will work with the Digital Director taking on the online planning responsibilities working to create media recommendations that complement the media strategy, non-digital planning and ultimately the client brief. The focus of this role is managing team workflow and the quality and accuracy of client deliverables

Core responsibilities include:

  • You will have a strong and comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape and a subject matter expert in all aspects of media planning, implementation including ad-ops, brand safety, viewability and measurement.
  • You have a primary focus on supporting the Digital director with a holistic view of digital media planning and investment for clients and provide a generalist view of all facets of digital media (biddable and non-biddable) and how they work together.
  • You will have a primary focus on best-in-class digital media planning and media plan creation briefing and negotiating recommendations with appropriate levels of proprietary and industry tools and be able to execute on this by trading and activating this media.
  • Staying up to date with product knowledge across major digital publishers.
  • Support the Director in accurately forecasting media billings by media owner
  • Oversee that all media bookings are being processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • A bit about you:

  • Solid Communication skills and strong presentation skills translating succinctly summarising and building your digital media recommendations.
  • Strong digital media partner relationships and product knowledge and ability to engage and adhere to dentsu QLD’s Media Partner engagement approach to drive the best outcomes for your client
  • You have great skills in creating and building meaningful connections with clients and team members, supporting the growth and development of Junior team members
  • Demonstrate strong client service skills with the ability to gain trust and confidence as well as project management end-to-end campaigns across digital media
  • Robust Digital Media Landscape understanding and point of view always continuing to learn and curious
  • You will have a lean into implementational planning and the ability to activate supporting your junior team members in the optimising and delivery of this media
  • You will have experience in supporting the digital director in accurately forecasting media billings by media owner
  • You will support and build the dentsu QLD profile in the market contributing to industry initiatives, thought leadership and industry events.
